John L. Shermyen
Executive Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
John brings more than 20 years of executive leadership experience to Ingenios Health and is recognized as a visionary for his entrepreneurial style and bold approach to business. He is credited with introducing the capitated, full-risk broker model to state governments, health insurers and other health-related entities in the early 1990s. In 2003, he received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award ® in the Business and Technology Services category for the Southeast region.
Prior to joining Ingenios Health, John founded and served as executive chairman and CEO of LogistiCare, Inc. He has been chairman of the board and CEO of L&L Acquisition Corporation since 2010. He founded RadioSoft, Inc., and LogistiCare Solutions, LLC. He also founded Charter LCI Corporation and Automated Dispatch Services, Inc.
John attended the University of Florida where he earned a master’s degree in Geography and Computer Cartography.
Chief Information Officer
Rob is a software developer with more than 20 years of experience developing commercial software applications and hardware products. His expertise and specialization has been in the development, implementation, and support of software applications and network systems. He has a proven track record in directing and managing technical resources to deliver projects on time and under budget. Additionally, Rob is highly effective in communicating with non-technical personnel, from senior executives and clients to frontline personnel.
Before joining Ingenios Health, Rob served as LogistiCare’s chief information officer, where in addition to developing and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure; he was responsible for the development and enhancement of the company’s proprietary data management system, LogistiCAD™.
Prior to LogistiCare, Rob held senior technical and managerial positions with Wang Laboratories and Automatic Data Processing. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Olivet Nazarene University in Illinois.
Vice President of Clinical Operations
Jennifer comes to Ingenios as a dueled degreed, MBA and MSN Registered Nurse with over 15 years of clinical and leadership experience. Jennifer obtained her MBA in 2007 and followed with her MSN in health care system management. Prior to joining our team, Jennifer led two major service lines at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center as Director of Cardiovascular Services and Director of Orthopedics and Spine. She also concurrently assisted in the development of the Trauma program by leading the Trauma Stepdown Unit. During this time she managed over 160 full time clinicians and administrative staff and led these two service lines to the highest patient satisfaction scores in the Medical Center.
Her collaborative approach to management also helped to elevate under-performing Cardiovascular Intensive Care, Step-Down, and Post Intervention Units to outstanding levels of operational excellence. Prior to her work in Aventura, Jennifer was Director of Critical Care Services and the Stroke Program at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center in Southern California.
